As a result of the ramps, drivers heading west from the Parkway northbound no longer will have to wait at the Hillside exit of Route 78 East and take a local bridge to get to the westbound side of the highway. Drivers heading east from the Parkway southbound no longer will have to travel west on Route 78 and make a U-turn at Vauxhall Road in Union.
