Tonight is CHS in Action night
The main floor hallways of Columbia will be lined with tables filled with the accomplishments of the many CHS clubs and teams. Sports teams display their trophies and pass out game schedules. The clubs each demonstrate their own activities; for example, the quiz bowl holds a mock tournament and the astronomy club invites the community to look through the school’s treasured telescope, in the astronomy tower.Read more. Ancient Roman coins on display today at Seton Hall
University a collection of 500 ancient coins from Greece and Rome. “These coins are much more than mere money,” as D'Argenio aptly put it. “They are the tangible connection between our world in the 21st century and the ancient Greek and Roman civilizations.” The collection includes coins depicting life in the Greek city-states, the Roman Republic, the Roman Empire and the Eastern Roman Empire from 500 B.C. to 1400 A.C.Presumably there is a lecture, but the details do not seem available. Yale art school dean to lecture on Tony Smith at Seton Hall Thursday, April 16; Tau dedication ceremony scheduled for Friday, April 17
