Lawsuit accuses Maplewood police chief of manipulation

Police Chief Robert J. Cimino allegedly manipulated promotion procedures and the Township Committee created a law to ensure a Cimino favorite became a captain, a civil lawsuit claimed. Those represent just some of the allegations raised by Vincent J. Cuozzo and Michael J. Mault, both lieutenants who have worked for more than 20 years in the department. They feel they were passed over for promotion improperly.

Familiar face on this week’s episode of Scrubs

Jake Silberg of Maplewood had always been a fan of the quirky medical sitcom, Scrubs, tuning in whenever he could fit it into his busy schedule as an active teenager. He never dreamed that the show and its star, Columbia High School graduate Zach Braff, would help him get through cancer treatment or that he would end up appearing on the show.
